Tara Tollefson


Tara Tollefson started The Buzz Company where she currently serves as chief executive officer and buzzmaker. Tara brings a keen eye for future marketing trends. She has leadership experience in sales, marketing and fundraising. Her areas of marketing expertise include market research, survey development and analysis, customer relations, networking and word-of-mouth marketing strategy. Tara received a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the College of St. Benedict/St. John's University, where she received national recognition for her work in qualitative interviewing and comprehensive analysis.  

Professional and Community Involvement: 

  • Member of the board of directors for the St. Cloud YMCA

  • Member of the board of directors for the Center for Nonprofit Excellence and Innovation

  • Facilitator for one of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Dialogue Groups

  • Mentor for the Donald McNeely Entrepreneurial Center at the College of St. Benedict/St. John's University

Chris LeDuc

Chris' background makes her exceptionally well-suited for customer relations project management.  She has managed fundraising projects for national non-profits, served a local college as an annual giving director, and United Way as development director. 

She loves both people and animals (especially cats), is an avid reader and movie-watcher, an active community volunteer, and a travel enthusiast. 

She attended high school in Brainerd and graduated in '93 from St. Cloud State, earning a BA in English/Writing and Human Relations.

She and her husband Adam - and their two cats - have called St. Cloud home for more than a decade.

Pamela Nelson

Pam Nelson brings superior presentation skills to the Buzz Company, where she currently serves as executive assistant, videographer and buzzmaker. Pam specializes in organizational management, marketing, branding and video production. 

Pam has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Her work has taken her worldwide, particularly to East Asia and Europe.  

She remains dedicated to building a strong community through her involvement in a variety of nonprofit organizations. She has served on the board of directors for national organizations, including Christian Services Inc. and The Evangelical Free Church Youth Convention. 

Pam gained a strong foundation from Bemidji State University and Northwestern Bible College.
